What have we been up to?

 The new year is only a couple of weeks old but we've still managed to fit in some great foodie experiences.

A great sushi making lesson with Naoko's Kitchen. A real fun experience with a passionate and knowledgeable teacher. The next lesson is on 11th February, see Naoko's website for details.

An excellent Indian cookery workshop at Etherington's farm shop, Scorrier with Rayeesa's Indian Kitchen.

Another great evening at the Penryn picture house. This month's film was accompanied by with wonderful soup and cakes from Rustic Cakes and hot drinks from the Brew Cornwall van. Next film will be on the 11th Feb with tacos from the always excellent Home street food!

We have nominated our 2015 streetfood favourite the Cornish Venison Co in the takeaway and street food category of the BBC food awards. You may have seen details of the awards on The One Show and we think that it would be great for there to be a Cornish winner.
